Redhill & Reigate Swimming Club (RRSC) is a not-for-profit swimming club based in Surrey, that was established way back in 1887. It is well known for its friendly atmosphere, but it also has a competitive edge and strives to put up the strongest teams possible for competitions. The club operates a squad system and training sessions are held regularly each week to cater for a range of ages and abilities.
At RRSC you can expect to work hard, have fun and meet new people. We ask for commitment and self-discipline and in return you will improve your health and fitness, learn to work towards goals, be part of a team and share in each other’s successes.

As an ex-competitive swimmer, I thrive being on poolside and as a part of a club environment. Since stepping away from competing myself, I have always been involved in both teaching and coaching all levels and squads.
My most successful achievement being having 4 swimmers selected for the county development pathway in 2024 and coaching many swimmers to County, Regional & National levels.
My favourite part of coaching is seeing the hard work of training pay off on competition day and watching the swimmers celebrate their successes with their team mates and families.

I’ve been part of the club since 2011, first as a competitive swimmer and now as a coach. Swimming has always been a huge part of my life, and stepping into coaching was the perfect way to stay connected to the sport and help others find the same passion for it.
I’ve coached across a range of squads and love seeing swimmers progress, grow in confidence, and enjoy being part of the team. A highlight for me has been seeing swimmers I’ve coached qualify for County and Regional events and continue to progress through the sport.
What I love most about coaching is the team atmosphere, seeing swimmers support and motivate each other is what makes coaching so fulfilling.

My name is Emma. I have been coaching for many years and work hard with the swimmers in reaching their full potential. Working on strong stroke work and ensuring they keep up with their fitness. After a few years away from coaching I know that swimming is where I am meant to be. I am excited to be rejoining the club.

I am a competitive swimmer who has had a lifelong love and passion for the sport. Swimming has been a constant presence in my life, shaping my character by teaching me discipline, resilience, and the importance of hard work both in and out of the pool.
I find great joy in sharing my knowledge and experience with others. I enjoy teaching swimmers, helping them build confidence, refine their skills, and reach their full potential. Watching their growth over time and seeing them develop the same passion for swimming that I have is incredibly fulfilling and meaningful to me.
