National Arena League 2014 - Results and Well Done

Written by RRSC. Posted in News

We have had the final results in from the last round of the National Arena League, and the final table puts us a very creditable 14th in the 1st Division. There are 18 teams in our division, and 2 divisions (one and two) in our area.
We had a very exciting last round gala, which was very close right to the end. Unfortunately despite the valiant efforts of our swimmers we just missed out on first place by 10 points (see results below):
1. Maidstone             -  216 pts
2. Redhill& Reigate   -  206 pts
3. Dover Lifeguard    -  165 pts
4. Herne Bay             -  161 pts
5. Beckenham B        -  150 pts
6. Dartford & District  -  139 pts
I would just like to thank all those swimmers involved in all 3 rounds of the league, especially those who came just for relays or one swim (without you we would not have done so well). There have been some fantastic performances from a lot of swimmers (especially in the last round), but it would be wrong to single out specific swimmers after what has been a brilliant team performance.
Thanks and well done to you all.
