| Speedo 2006 Round 3 Gillingham, 9 December 2006 Chairman Nick Mabbutt said: "R&RSC put in a valiant performance, increasing their overall standing in the Speedo League based on last year's results. Finishing a superb 5th place in the South East Division 2 only goes to show the efforts our swimmers made in all three galas. | Dorking Open Meet Dorking, 12th November 2006 For individual swimmer times (PDF), click here Chief coach Dale Simpson said: "Dorking was our first year at this open meeting and it yielded a great number of personal best (PB) times. In total, 22 swimmers took part over two sessions on the Sunday. "The medal haul was impressive, vwith 17 medals – including 6 gold, 4 silver and 7 bronze – as well as a large number of speeding tickets (given for going too fast – which means getting a large PB)." |
| Speedo 2006 Round 2 Horsham, 11th November 2006 The results from the second round of the Speedo gala were as follows: Chief coach Dale Simpson said: "The speedo gala was a very close fought one with the lead changing hands sevral times during the event. "We had many exceptional swims but this time special note must go to all the swimers who came for just one or two swims and without whom we would not have performed so well. "Special mention should go to all these swimmers: Hanna Righton, Jo Farley and William Robinson, to name but a few. Without these swimmers the result would not have been so good for the club." |

| Godalming Swimming Club Open Gala Cranleigh Swimming Pool Sunday 9th July This all-day event was very well attended by clubs from the south east. Coach Dale Simpson said: "All our swimmers put in fantastic performances. “Sixteen of our swimmers took part and between them came home with a tally of 32 medals, comprising: 12 Golds, 9 Silvers and 11 Bronze medals. Numerous personal best times were also achieved "I am extremely proud of these achievements by each and every one of them. The hard work they have been putting in in training recently – both in and outside of the pool – is really paying off." Top swimmers on the day: Carl Campion: 4 silvers, 1 bronze; Emma Tilley: 2 golds, 2 silvers and 1 bronze; Bailey Rumbelow: 2 golds; Lianne Purvis: 1 gold, 2 silvers and 1 bronze; Ben Tilley: 2 golds and 1 bronze. |
