Social Events Redhill & Reigate Swimming Club (RRSC) runs a variety of social activities for younger and older members. The Masters are particularly active, organising various meals and other social events. For more details please visit the Masters webpage.

Recent Events The Redhill & Reigate Swimming Club Masked Ball was held on Saturday 26 January 2008 at the Surrey National Golf Club. The evening was a great success, with 120 RRSC members and their friends attending. After an excellent three-course dinner the raffle was drawn, with this year's covetable prizes including a judge's course and a timekeeper's course! Our chairman managed to keep his speech fairly short and everybody agreed with him that we should hold another dinner dance next year. The club thanked Fiona Sussmes for organising such a great evening, and also thanked Nick and Michele for all their hard work throughout the year. As the evening progressed masks were discarded and bowties slipped askew, and a great time was had by all.

2007 Social Events R&RSC BBQ The annual BBQ took place on Friday 14 September 2007 at Merstham Cricket Club and fun was had by all the 150-ish RRSC members and their families who attended. Thanks go to Clare Lush for organising the event, Berit Watkin for taking photographs and the Richardsons for manning the BBQ. This year's medals and trophies were all awarded quickly before the sun set, though some of the committee and their families carried on partying late into the evening!

Bowling trip  On Sunday 20 May fifty junior members of R&RSC went bowling at the Hollywood Bowl in Crawley. Judging by the photos it was great fun and offered our swimmers the chance to get to know each other better away from the swimming pool. Although it was primarily a social occasion, team spirit and competitiveness were as much in evidence as at any gala! Well done to Natalie Stewart for achieving the highest individual score.

January 2007 - R&RSC Dinner Dance The Redhill & Reigate Swimming Club Dinner Dance was held at the Surrey National Golf Club and the evening was such a success it was decided to make it an annual event.
